Break Up Song Playlist

I know during my break up with my ex, music kept me sane most days. Sometimes I don’t know what I would do without it. Some songs remind me of her  — other songs help me to release my emotions or allow me to stop thinking for just a moment to forget everything that is crumbling in my life. The MAJORITY of the time, I am listening to break up songs aka sad songs due to the fact it is how I am feeling at the time, or perhaps because the song holds a deeper meaning to me that in someway helps me to cry and allow everything beneath me shatter to pieces only to fall asleep in peace afterwards.

Regardless of your reasoning for wanting to listen to break up songs or sad tunes, music speaks to us when words from our close peers aren’t enough or when we want that time alone…to be in our own thoughts. Down below I am going to list 10 songs I listened to while going through my breakup & still happen to listen to because I love the tunes ❤

  1. Ally Hills- Wrong
  2. Ally Hills- Space
  3. Eamon- F It, I don’t want you back
  4. The 1975 – somebody else
  5. Shawn Hook ft Vanessa Hudgens- Reminding Me
  6. Gwen Stefani – 4 in the morning
  7. Leona Lewis – Better in Time
  8. Lana Del Rey – Young and Beautiful
  9. Lana Del Rey ft The Weeknd – Lust for Life
  10. Lana Del Rey- Born To Die

While I love all these songs within this playlist and listen to them on a daily basis; while going through my break up, I had the majority if not all of them on repeat at one point or another. Til this day, I still find these songs to have meaning in my life, I hope all of you will check them out and enjoy!
